Logan Tucker Got my CD in the mail last week and I haven't been able to listen to anything else. This is the video game cover album the world's been waiting for. The inclusion of keyboards brings a melodic and powerful sound to the mix and bridges the gap between beauty and brutality. Favorite track: The Dark Prophecy (Secret of Mana).
Pokérus Project (Patricio Thielemann)

Pokérus Project (Patricio Thielemann) Oh man, what can I say? DoE is the best example of persistence in this VGM world of artists and bands. Tracks like "War of the Magitek" kick my brain every time! :) Favorite track: War of the Magitek (Final Fantasy VI).
John Crichton

John Crichton This album really brings it all to the table. The bass has great chunk, the drums are forceful yet perfectly mixed, and the guitars are all over the place (and I mean that in a good way). The vocals are also wonderfully done, being used sparingly but in such a manner to add the right amount of depth to each track they are used in. You'll easily find yourself loving sets inspired by games you never even played. Favorite track: The Dark Prophecy (Secret of Mana).
John Nada

John Nada D of E has continually put out the best vgm around. This album crushes. Favorite track: Act of Birth and Sacrifice (Actraiser).
Victor Max Vellon

Victor Max Vellon DoE kills it in what I feel is their best album to date and had to be supported. A progressive album with amazing gaming medleys. The track chose as a favorite, I can no longer hear this track from anyone and not hear Lepre's harmonizing parts at the select parts of the song where it happens. Favorite track: Shinra Oppression (Final Fantasy VII).
Ami

Ami This album is capable of spacing me out and then bringing me back to a determined frenzy. I'm not making any sense. It's just fucking good. Favorite track: Act of Birth and Sacrifice (Actraiser).

(Sacrifices) Daylight brings the sun To grant us life Yet take it away Generations pass The birth and the sacrifice Take this offering Give us rain Give us strength to rise And then Take this melody For the ones Who need a song To carry on, so we can Build for our people

Long ago ran the sun on a folk who had a dream And the heart and the will and the power: They moved earth; they carved stone; molded hill and channeled stream That we might stand on the wide plains of Wiltshire Now men asked who they were, how they built and wonder why That they wrought standing stones of such size What was done beneath our shade? What was prayed beneath our skies As we stood on the wide plains of Wiltshire Oh what secrets we could tell if you'd listen and be still Rid the stink and the noise from our skirts But you haven't got the clue and perhaps you never will Mute we stand on the cold plains of Wiltshire Still we loom in the mists as the ages roll away And we say of our folk, "they are here!" That they built us and they died and you'll not be knowing why Save we stand on the bare plains of Wiltshire

(The Legend) Way down Into the darkness The legend fades With time We know We need a hero Who wields the sword To save us...
